Standard Commission

This plan is ideal if you would like the highest-quality drawing.

Payment for standard commissions is made in two installments- at least 50% is required after an initial sketch is agreed upon, and the remaining 50% is demanded upon completion. Updates will be sent continuously throughout the process.

As of September 19, 2025, grayscale sketches start at 40 USD, and fully-rendered drawings start at 100 USD. These prices may change over time between batches of commissions.

Hourly Commission

This plan is ideal if you want something done quickly and economically, and are willing and able to watch and monitor the process in real time.

Instead of paying for a specific drawing, you pay for a set period of time where any work you desire can be completed in real-time. The work can be anything you'd like within reason- creating a bunch of sketches, working on a specific drawing, or even refining a previously commissioned sketch. Just be cognizant of the fact that more complex demands will necessarily require more time.

By default, these commissions will be done in a public Picarto livestream. If you wish to keep your commission private, then I am willing to do the commission in a private Discord call as well. If neither accommodation is to your liking, then we can discuss other places to host the stream. Some form of real-time communication is necessary for the best experience with this commission method.

Once your commission request has been approved, you will be offered a time in a given time block, shown in the table below.

Hourly Commission Terms

  • It is STRONGLY recommended that you attend the livestream and are capable of providing real-time feedback. Please consider a standard commission if you are not able to do so.
  • If you are not able to attend the stream or must leave early, then you must provide one of the following fallback options:
    • You may cancel the commission. Cancellation is free before the appointment is officially confirmed. At any other time, cancellations will be charged 25% of the total cost of the commission (10 dollars for every hour of time scheduled)
    • You may reschedule the commission once.
    • You may elect to have someone you know stand in for you during the stream. I am not responsible for any suggestions made by the stand-in.
    • You may let the commission proceed as normal. I will work to the best of my ability to make the commission, using whatever information you've given me to that point. I am not responsible for any mistakes made as a result of incomplete information, and you are not entitled to uncompensated edits after the stream has concluded.
  • You must be as clear as possible. Prepare all your reference materials in advance and at least 24 hours before it is due to be drawn. Refer to the Reference Guide for pointers on making good references. The clearer your commission, the more efficiently I can work.
  • Preliminary thumbnails will be drafted before the start of the stream to expedite the process. You are not obligated to pay for them.
  • Some light editing work may be done after the allotted stream time to improve the quality of the drawing, but no major changes will be made after the stream has ended. You are not obligated to pay for this extra work, nor am I obligated to provide it.
  • The client is not entitled to any further uncompensated edits once the work has been completed. The artist may make edits at their own discretion, but it is not guaranteed.
  • If there is remaining unbooked time at the end of the drawing session, clients may request additional time, provided they are willing and able to pay for it.

Terms of Service

All parties involved- the artist, Yuujin F, and the prospective client, must agree to the following terms before doing business.

FAILURE TO ADHERE TO THESE TERMS MAY RESULT IN A PERMANENT BAN FROM THIS ARTIST'S SERVICES.
Artist (Yuujin F)
The artist reserves the right to anonymity.
The artist reserves the right to reject a commission offer for any reason.
The artist will communicate any significant delays to the client in a timely manner.
The artist reserves the right to modify, reuse, and resell rejected or unpaid drawings.
The artist does not represent the views or beliefs of their client.
If the commission takes over 45 days to complete after the first payment, the artist must produce a free full-body sketch for the client.
Client
The client reserves the right to anonymity.
The client may not claim the commissioned artwork as theirs or use the commissioned work for commercial purposes without express permission from the artist.
Clients are entitled to a one-time 15% discount if they can identify the flightless bird located in this page section.
The client may repost their artwork on other social media sites, provided the artist receives adequate credit.
The client may make edits to their received artwork (for instance, cropping it for a profile picture), provided that proper attribution is given to the artist.

Refund Policy

Clients are not entitled to refunds. Refunds will only be issued at the artist's discretion.

For standard commissions, full refunds may be issued before the sketch is finalized, and refunds up to 50% may be issued before the lineart is finalized.

For hourly commissions, full refunds may be issued at any time before the work is scheduled to begin.

Miscellaneous

Payment

The following payment methods are supported at this time:

PayPal

Currently the best option I have. All payments will be managed through invoices, and I'll send the link to those invoices before major work begins on the commission.

Be careful when sending money directly using PayPal's "Send Money" feature. By default, it'll attach your shipping address to the payment. All payments should be managed solely through invoices, as those do not require a shipping address.

Stripe

I should be able to send invoice links through Stripe.

Cryptocurrency

Given the current nonsense going on with payment processors and credit card companies it wouldn't be a bad idea to set up a crypto wallet.

Reference

Reference is highly important! Providing good reference is essential to ensuring that you'll get an end product that you'll be happy with.

Use of the following tools is not mandatory, but it will be massively helpful for me.

Frequent Flyer

If you have commissioned 5 characters worth of commissions, you are entitled to a permanent 5% discount on all future commissions.
